Pokemon Go Map Companion Apps Quickly Flooding App Stores

By now, most of you if not all have at least tried Pokemon Go, the application that has quickly taken the world by storm. Filled with nostalgia, most gamers are out on their free time to hunt down their favorite Pokemon, but let’s be honest, there’s a bit of frustration that can get into the game after finding all of your local Pokemon already. That is where these Pokemon Go map companions come in handy and they too are quickly becoming a popular app.

There are plenty of Pokemon Go companion apps available for download. These are simply a Google Map API, for the most part, that are regularly updated to show where Pokemon are in your general location along with areas outside of walking distance. This could mean that we’ll see more Pokemon hunters traveling a greater distance in order to fill up their arsenal.

One of the more popular options that gamers seem to be taking a liking to is Poke Radar, another Google Maps API that allows users to input where a Pokemon spawn is located along with its schedule. Now gamers can find out where exactly they need to be and at what time to catch a specific Pokemon character.

Unfortunately, the Google Maps API doesn’t allow too many users to view the map at one time so these maps are often down when used in the browser. Likewise, the Poke Radar at this point is only available for Apple’s iPhone with Android set to be release at some point today. For now, if you don’t have an Apple iPhone, you can try your luck with the Poke Radar browser website or one of the other slew of Pokemon Go map companion apps.
