It's regarded as one of the greatest JRPGs ever made and sine the announcement of its Vita port, many have considered it a system seller.
Now, Atlus has at long last confirmed that Persona 4: Golden will release on the PlayStaion Vita (and presumably the PSN, for download) in North America this fall. It'll include all the additions being added to the Japanese release which is set to launch in July. This includes 1.5x more spoken dialog and a brand new character. As a nice touch, Atlus sent out the announcement at midnight.
Fans who are accustomed to Atlus' typical pattern of announcements didn't expect a localization to be confirmed until this fall, but this is, of course, a very welcome surprise.
I hope the Vita keeps playing host to these kind of celebrated game reveals from now, to E3, and beyond.
