Microsoft has plans to release a $99 Xbox 360 package with a monthly subscription as early as next week, according to a report just published by The Verge.
The report says that buyers will have to pay a $15 monthly subscription for two years for a 4GB console with a Kinect sensor. The two-year subscription will also come with an Xbox Live Gold service as well as additional streaming content from cable providers. The deal will also provide subscribers with a two-year warranty for the console itself.
Anyone who chooses to break their contract ahead of the two year period will have to pay a termination fee.
