It's been quite a while since Portal 2 came out, over 12 months in fact, and the developers have decided it's time to breathe new life into the game. With the Community Test Chambers soon to be accessible, it's a nice time to have a look at how well the editor works and who can expect to be able to do it.
In short: anybody. It doesn't seem overly complicated; hell, it even seems a little fun. Valve have managed to create something easy to use, nice to look at, intuitive and enjoyable, a recipe towards getting as many people as possible creating and running their own tests. And for those that don't feel clever enough or can't come up with any good ideas, at least you'll get to play through all the added levels of those more experimental.
The Community Test Chambers are coming to the public over the next few weeks.
