The world is in an uproar, as only a few hours ago the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was uncloaked. Fraternity kids from all over the world screamed out in ecstasy, as this promise of a new Call of Duty was too much for them to handle.
Anyways – all jokes aside – the game does look pretty nice. While the graphics can be quipped at for being somewhat lackluster, we are pretty far into this generation; unless another exclusive with huge funding like Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception comes out, I think we have seen 90% of what this console generation’s technology can offer us.
All that said, the game does not look bad by any means. A large part of the trailer is spent highlighting explosions and falling skyscrapers, but no real information is divulged. There is just an old guy and a lot of dramatic dialogue between him and yourself – you are looking in from a first-person perspective, as per the norm in Call of Duty games.
We are sure you want concrete information, though, so what we can tell you is: the game is going to take place in 2025, and will be released on November 13th, 2012.
