Midnight Purple 3DS Dawns at Retailers on May 20

It's always surprised me how long it takes console manufacturers to roll out different color models of their hardware.

Well, Nintendo is finally updating the 3DS pallette of choices once again as Destructoid reports the handheld will be available in  "Midnight Purple" starting May 20. It'll be available at the current standard MSRP of $169.99.

I actually had a purple Game Boy Color (they called it "Grape".) Maybe E3 will give me a reason (hopefully more) to pick up a 3DS.
