Activision has been pretty steady with their yearly iterations over the past few years regarding their insanely popular Call of Duty franchise. They have an interesting deal set up that both pushes games out quickly and infuses them with quality, as Treyarch and Infinity Ward swap development cycles.
According to a retailer leak, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be a direct sequel (Surprise, right?) to the 2010 Call of Duty: Black Ops. Furthermore, the leak indicates a November 13th 2012 release date, which is not really a surprise; most Call of Duty games have been released in November.
The leak in question came via IGN, who brought some interesting photos to light. These photos are showing of “Reservation Cards,” which will be used to reserve copies of the game.
There is an official reveal scheduled for May 1st during the NBA play-offs, so keep a weather eye on the basketball courts!
