Activision’s Singularity, released yesterday, has scored a decent 7.9 out of 10 across 12 critic reviews(during the time of writing). The game has impressed a few critics, but has also received mediocre scores from the likes of Joystiq and IGN. You can find our full coverage of Singularity reviews here. Reviews aside, one thing that has stood out is the opening cinematic of the game which definitely gives players a head-start while plunging them into the secret Russian island, Katorga 12, where mad scientists experimented with a rare element called E99 in the 1950s and it all went wrong.
