Totally Legit iPhone 5 Released in China, 100% Edible

April 18, 2012 by Elizabeth DeLoria

Delicious mango flavor.

There’s a lot of things I loved about being in China; the crazy driving, the bizarre toilet cubicles that didn’t have doors for some reason, and the ice cream. China does ice cream a little bit differently, and boasts a lot of ‘novelty’ shaped treats, such as corn. If you’re an apple fan, you’ll probably appreciate the new Apple “iPhone 5” ice cream.

While the snack claims to have a “western-style flavor” to it, it’s a mango flavoured treat, which is a bit unexpected as it’s an Apple themed ice cream, and the next logical step would be for it to taste like an… apple.

Because Apple didn’t register its trademarks over a variety of industries, some Chinese companies are slapping the iPhone brand on everything from frozen snacks to hiking equipment and concrete.

My favourite thing about this ice cream is that the iPhone on the front is running Internet Explorer. Seems legit.
