Housemarque announced on their website that their Playstation 4 exclusive twin-stick shooter is getting a major update on July 5.
One of the biggest things that will be added in the game is the local co-op upto 4 players on the same screen. We think that couch multiplayer is not getting enough love from developers these days, so this is a very welcomed change.
The update will also include a League system. This is what Housemaruqe had to say about it: “The new update also introduces the much requested Leagues system: divided into 5 Ranks and 1-week cycles, Leagues will allow you to climb the ladders of glory and unlock new bullet colors in the process.”
There will also be new difficulty levels, new trophies, revamped Arkship experience and with some adjustments done to Legendary weapon loot drops. Also, increased Hero level caps.
Alienation will also be getting its first paid DLC in the form of a Survivor’s Pack. They’re also releasing a Season Pass for those who want access to all future DLC as well.
The Survivor’s Pack will allow you to use the main weapons with any class in the game, and it also adds the Vortex Grenade which creates a small vortex sucking all enemies into it. It also includes three exclusive bullet colors. The Survivor’s Pack will be sold for $5.99/2.99€.
You will also be able to pick up the Season Pass for $9.99/7.99€ which includes the Survivor’s Pack, Conqueror’s Pack, Veteran Heroes Pack, the game’s soundtrack and Alienation’s Dynamic Theme for your Playstation 4.
