Card battling games are becoming incredibly popular lately with titles such as Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft along with the upcoming release of Gwent making a big impact. Now we can add another title that will be releasing onto both iOS and Android within the third quarter. Animation Throwdown: The Quest For Cards is an upcoming card battling game that pins some of the most popular Fox animated shows against each other.

Announced through a press release on Kongregate, the upcoming card game will put gamers against one another by collecting themed cards from five Twentieth Century Fox Television animated comedies which include American Dad!, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, Futurama, and King of the Hill.

Little information is given out about the game, however, it’s stated within the press release that gamers will collect cards that are themed from these animated shows to use in battle. From there, players will use these characters to duke it out with other players in which case we could see Family Guy’s Peter Griffin fight again other iconic characters such as Futuama’s Leela or King of the Hill’s Hank Hill.

As stated above, information on the video game is still scarce with no images or trailers released quite yet. Instead, the game is currently in-development under both Kongregate and Chinzilla Games. Regardless, we want to know your thoughts on the card game.
