Crysis 3 leak on Origin

April 11, 2012 by Mat Growcott

I think it’s probably time for video game publishers to start announcing their games about 2-3 weeks earlier, it would make constant leaks a thing of the past.

crysis 3

There were a series of leaks yesterday – including an early Resident Evil 6 trailer and a Lost Planet 3 announcement – and what better way to start today than by having yet another leak; this time, via EA's own digital distribution service Origin. The listing for the PC version of Crysis 3 came and went quickly but, as with anything on the internet, was snapped and kept for all to see.

It's not the first we've heard about a potential third entry in the series, with job listings giving more than a gentle hint to what was coming. And while it hasn't been officially announced, complete with press release and early details, it's fair to say that its appearance on Origin makes it a sure thing.

Personally, I dream of an announcement within the games industry that we don't all know about months in advance, although at this point I think it might be wishful thinking.
