Monolith is known for its development of the F.E.A.R. series, and it most recently released Gotham City Impostors. According to insider/sleuth/time-traveling psychic Superannuation, Monolith/Warner Bros. Games Seattle is currently working on a "fantasy action RPG-lite called The Hobbit: Part One."
Warner Bros fired 60 members of its staff at Snowblind Studios last November following the commercial failure of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Meaning, the only ones left at WB Games Seattle are Monolith, and they're the ones working on this new title.
"It also sounds like WB Seattle will be handling the tie-in for the second Hobbit film."
We hope it's better than their previous efforts.
