Discover the Lost Art of Science in Legasista

March 30, 2012 by Andrew Kent

NIS America’s Legasista is a dungeon crawler that you won’t want to miss out on.

Coming to a PSN near you is Legasista, a dungeon crawler RPG being published by NIS America. Legasista is based in a world where science has become part of history and is now feared as ancient and a form of magic. The main protagonist, Alto, is on a quest that takes him to the Ivy Tower which is a store house for many ancient relics from the days of science.

In Legasista you can for a team of three characters to explore the dungeons in the game and can easily switch them in and out and move them from the front to the back. Speaking of dungeons, these are randomly generated, along with the loot that comes with them.

Customization comes in the form of creating your own character the way you want it. Players are able to change attributes from job class to unique personalities as well as how your character looks. Be warned though, personalities change the way your character fights. Speaking of fighting, weapons are customizable as well. Players can also upload a picture from their PS3 and the game will automatically convert the image(s) into playable characters.

Legasista will be out in the US and Europe on the PSN in August of 2012.
