An internal marketing Q&A has revealed that a new $199 Xbox 360 slim will soon be in the offing, this Fall. It has also been revealed that Microsoft’s motion sensing device, Kinect will be available as a standalone device and as part of a bundle with the newly designed Xbox 360 console. Although details or pricing of the bundles are being kept under wraps, Gamestop is currently listing the Xbox 360 Arcade version and Kinect bundle for $299.
The Microsoft document revealed:
Q: Will you sell a $199 version of the new Xbox 360?
A: We will offer a $199 Xbox 360 this fall.
Details or specs regarding the new $199 Xbox 360 slim(not officially announced) were not revealed, but you can expect a HDMI output, bearing in mind the current Arcade model already supports HDMI output.
