N7 Armor Trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 Surfaces

March 23, 2012 by Jacob Saylor

You can check out Shepard’s N7 armor in Final Fantasy XIII-2 now.

We’re not sure how the two series intertwine at all, but according to Square Enix and Bioware they do. On March 27th, you’ll be able to buy the N7 Series Armor via DLC. The trailer shown here depicts two of Final Fantasy III-2’s characters wearing the red-and-black armor. Honestly, I wish they would just stop with the spinoffs and DLC like this that no one cares about and get on with Final Fantasy 13: Versus or Kingdom Hearts 3.

I know Mass Effect 3 is popular and this will probably garner a few extra bucks for each team, but come on. This is just a little bit too much, isn’t it? It’s like trying to feed cat food to a dog. Sure, there is a good portion of dogs that will eat the food without even thinking, but there’s also a huge majority who turn their nose up at it. In regards to the N7 Armor DLC, the universes of Final Fantasy and Mass Effect are not even related. I guess the armor looks cool, but the likelihood there is statistically more advantageous and better-looking armor is very high.
