Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is a tale of two different worlds colliding. A group of Entertainers from the real world, meshed together with a group of heroes from a far off dimension. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is a crossover game between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem. This story trailer released by Nintendo today helps set up the plot of what to expect.
It’s set in Tokyo like most Shin Megami Tensei games. A group of Entertainers must stop evil Mirages from taking over the world. While many of the Mirages are bad guys, there are good-hearted Mirages that the heroes can team up with to fight back. These Mirages are the Fire Emblem inspired characters that have roots across different games in that series. There are a variety of main quests and side quests available across the districts of Tokyo you’ll visit. But op top of that is the Persona type twist of traveling between the real world and the dungeons of the alternate dimension.
There’s multiple sets of DLC available on launch, with two of them being costume sets. The Tokyo Millennium Collection includes a Maid costume for Eleonora, an X-Nurse costume for Kiria, and a Santa outfit for Tsubasa. The Atlus Costume Set has an Etrian Odyssey III costume for Kiria, a Persona Q costume for Tsubasa, a SMT IV costume for Touya, and a Devil Survivor 2 costume for Itsuki. The third DLC pack is called the Hunter Support Quest package. These missions give you experience, items, and skills to take on a series of powerful “Savage” class of enemies.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE arrives to Wii U on June 24th of this year.
