Nate The Hate has shared another update on GTA 6’s next round of marketing.

Last week, he said that he expected a ‘fair bit’ of the game for August, which has of course just started. He was asked about another update on Twitter yesterday, to which he said this:
It’s August. In due time we’ll get the update people seek.
Of course, we have seen Rockstar drag their heels on marketing this game in the buildup to launch this November. The conventional wisdom from market research is that game companies should do most of their advertising two weeks before the game’s launch.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick did claim last April that they would start their marketing ‘soon.’ However, when pre-orders went live, we found out that this would be the first GTA not to come on disc, and they would be paywalling some major content to their special edition.
So one can understand why the fans are looking for more, but we may have to wait until the end of August based on how vague Nate’s statement is.
