Not long ago we heard rumours that Shenmue 1 and 2, along with Skies of Arcadia, might be getting the HD treatment. They were well-requested when Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi were announced and it seems SEGA have taken note of that and started working towards making the whole thing a reality.
Further rumours hit the net yesterday stating that Shenmue HD had not only been finished, but it had been finished for over a year. Despite that not making any sense whatsoever, it caused some minor outrage amongst people that like to get outraged about such things. This rumour isn't true, at least if you believe SEGA's own Mike Kebby, the man responsible for doing "digital things".
In response to Destructoid posting the rumour on Twitter, Kebby put it as plainly as possible: "what bollocks." I find that hard to argue with, especially when the opposition has little more than an anonymous tipster.
