Ghost Recon Future Soldier Video Reveals Multiplayer Drones

March 16, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new video of GR: Future Soldier shows off the multiplayer drones available in the game.

Ubisoft and Redstorm have uploaded a new video presenting their upcoming third person shooter, Ghost Recon Future Soldier. In this latest video, gameplay programmer Joshua Parker talks about the different types of drones available to the player in the game's multiplayer mode.

The drones come in three different forms. The first form is a trirotor UAV for recon. It's a fast flyer that allows you to determine where your enemies are located before you take them down.

The second type of drone is a quadrotor that can either fly or crawl. It's used to disable large groups of enemies and get away before it's taken down.

Finally, the most destructive drone is the UCAV, which is armed with bombs.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier is out in Q2 2012 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
