More people are chiming in on Red Dead Redemption 2’s spider mystery. While no one has found any real solutions, they are discovering stranger things (pun not intended).
BaseReaper made an incredible discovery earlier this week when he found a way to trigger thunderstorms in the game, anytime the player wanted. That ties in to his latest video, as he tries to figure out if there’s any connection to the spider mystery.
While he hasn’t tied them together yet, he did manage something unexpected. He figured out how to replicate the thunderstorm by performing a ritual at the Native burial site.
BaseReaper also followed up on a different lead we found out earlier this week. After learning of Gertrude Braithwaite, he went to the Braithwaite family’s burnt manor to find clues.
There, he found a burnt photograph distinctly marked with an arrow. Looking at the photo frame, he found the same bird/top heart symbol originally found at Fort Wallace.
Once again, nothing has been solved so far. We’re even starting to suspect some of these aren’t related to the spider mystery and are Easter eggs of their own. But it’s so fascinating to see this detective hunt play out.
