There are many reasons to play GTA Online, but one of the biggest ones is that if you are able to get enough money, you can buy pretty much anything you want in the game itself. Recently, that meant getting access to a bunch of mansions, which is pretty cool in its own right, especially since you’ll be able to trick it out and fill it up with all the stuff you’ve gotten during your run in the game. However, there were also some new cars and upgrades to purchase for your rides, and over on Reddit, one player showed that if you get the FMJ HSW, you’ll basically be able to fly on parts of the road.
When you watch the clip, it’s honestly pretty hilarious, as things start off pretty normal for a race, and then it hits the air and glides in front of the car ahead of it, thanks to the rocket boost going on. That’s something we’re sure every driver would love to experience at one point or another. After all, it’d be a thrill a second, and then you’d want to do it again.
Granted, we’re not sure how accurate that is to the real world, but let’s just roll with it for now, okay? As you can imagine, other Redditors were all too happy to praise what’s going on and what to do it themselves:
“It’s the new top dog in the game. Broughy1322 has spoken.”
“Just smashed the HSW time trial using this with easeeee (wrecked twice as well)”
“Reminded me those infamous Le Mans accidents with “flying cars”.”
“I just bought my first HSW upgrade yesterday. I didn’t think the upgrades were going to be THAT big so I just didn’t care. But holy sh*t was I wrong lmfao.”
So, yeah, players are having fun with this, or will attempt to get it themselves so they can go flying down the road…literally!
It makes you wonder if Rockstar Games could do more with this, especially with the next game’s online mode. After all, they are heading to Florida, and wild things happen all the time in Florida, including people without cars strapping a “water jet” on their backs so that they can zoom over the water with ease. It sounds crazy, but it actually works.
Anyway, with this option now available to you in GTA Online, we’re sure you’ll all be very responsible with what you do with it…right…?
