Ghost Recon Wildlands Gets New Trailer And Three Special Editions

May 26, 2016 by Stephen Daly

The game was announced at E3 last year and it looks like we’ll learn about it at this year’s show.

Correction: Ubisoft previously stated that Wildlands‘ Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99. The actual price is $69.99.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.

The game takes place in Bolivia as the Ghosts are sent in to cripple the Santa Blanca cartel and topple the gang’s ruthless leader El Sueño. In a press release, Ubisoft says “players will have a total freedom of choice to accomplish their missions how they want and watch as the world reacts to their actions.”

Your Ghost can be fully customised and the game offers both solo and co-op with up to three friends.

Wildlands‘ various versions have also been detailed:

  • Standard Edition available for $59.99
  • Deluxe Edition available for $69.99 – Includes the Standard Edition and the digital Deluxe Pack which includes: the Huntsman rifle and motorbike, three emblems, three weapon camo, three character customization items and a XP booster.
  • Gold Edition available for $99.99 – Includes the Deluxe pack and Seasons Pass content, giving players access to two major expansions as well as exclusive digital content featuring equipment packs, an exclusive vehicle and epic weapons.
  • Collector’s Edition Standard available for $119.99, Deluxe available for $129.99 and Gold available for $159.99 – Includes the edition of your choice with a Santa Muerte figurine and collectible posters designed by Ken Taylor.

Pre-ordering the game will net you “The Peruvian Connection” bonus mission in which the Ghosts are tasked with breaking up the alliance between the Santa Blanca and the Peruvian Cartels high in the Bolivian mountains.

We’ll likely learn more about the game at E3 next month. Wildlands was announced at E3 last year.
