If you're anything like me, all you really need to know about Prototype 2 is that you can rip the cannon off a tank and chuck it at a passing helicopter, but if you care about girly fluff like "story" and "characters," this new trailer should give you just what you need.
The clip centers on the fictional history of Blackwatch, an organization created by the US government to guard against biological attacks. Of course, they were later responsible for Blacklight, an incredibly destructive biological weapon that took over all of Manhattan, so Congress might want to rethink their funding.
The trailer then goes onto to recount the events of the first game, which should provide a good primer for anyone looking to hop straight into the sequel. Really, though, if you missed out on Prototype, you should give it a shot for one very important reason.
Prototype 2 is out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 24 in North American and April 27 in Europe. A PC version is slated to follow on July 24.
