EA and Danger Close have released the debut trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter, their follow up to the 2010 franchise reboot.
The trailer features shots of in-game footage accompanied by Arabic narration about the legendary capabilites of the game's Tier 1 operators. Thanks to DICE's Frostbite 2.0 engine, Warfighter has received a significant visual upgrade over its predecessor, with impressive lighting, weather effects, and destruction that rivals what we've seen in Battlefield 3.
The teaser also touches on the fact that Warfighter will be more international in scope than Medal of Honor, name dropping several of the globe's top special forces outfits in quick succession.
EA will be holding the first Warfighter press event this evening, so we expect more details about the title to be forthcoming in the very near future.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is currently slated for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this October 23. A Wii U version is also in the works.
