Back in the old days, there was this game called MechWarrior. As you might expect, it was about people climbing into giant robots and battling each other. Many of the kiddies playing games these days might have totally missed out on the series, as it has been a while since we've had a proper MechWarrior.
But with MechWarrior Online, that will hopefully be rectified. As you can see from the trailer, robots are very complicated. At least, that's what I got out of it. The game will be running on CryEngine 3, so you can be assured that it will be a visual treat. MechWarrior Online will be using the free-to-play model that has been so popular lately. As it happens, there is another Mech game (Hawken) that will also be using a similar model this summer, so if MechWarrior Online isn't your thing but you just love giant robots, there are options available.
