It’s an official video game adaptation of Chaosium’s RPG game.
In Call of Cthulhu, you play Edward Pierce. He’s a Detective with a war veteran background, solving crimes in 1920s Boston. Pierce gets a case to investigate the death of Sarah Hawkins on Darkwater Island. What Edward didn’t expect was that this mystery would awaken sinister beings from another world, and secrets that were meant to stay buried.

The last time we saw a game in the series was all the way back in 2005, with Headfirst productions making Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth for the original Xbox and PC. Will this new game branch out the mythos, or stick to the formula of what worked in the earlier release?
The game is being developed by Cyanide Studio, and published by Focus Home Interactive. You can check out updates on their upcoming website, Twitter, and Facebook for all the latest. Call of Cthulhu releases on consoles and PC in 2017.
