Fans of the old school 2D fighter Darkstalkers are in for another treat if they own a PS3 or a Vita. Darkstalkers 3 has been rated by ESRB, and listed for the two latest Sony consoles. It joins the original Darkstalkers, which released last November to the great delight of fighting fans everywhere.
People are still expecting a new version of Darkstalkers for modern consoles after a reveal at Comic Con, but it's unclear whether they meant a re-release of old games for digital download or a proper sequel. However, earlier this month Capcom filed a trademark for the series, which leads many people to believe that they are, in fact, working on a new version of the game. We'll have more information on that as it is available.
