There is a ton of love for CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3. The video game was such a cherished RPG that fans have continued to praise its work long after its release. One praised a particular mission within the base game that turned out to be one of the hardest for developers to create.
Developers are working through The Witcher 4 and pressing forward with this franchise. However, they still enjoy looking back at the work they’ve done. While Pawel Sasko is focused on CD Projekt Red’s next Cyberpunk 2077 title, they had a hand in developing The Witcher 3. So when a fan reached out online to highlight how much they loved the Battle of Kaer Morhen, Pawel quickly highlighted this was the hardest mission he’s worked on for the game.
Pawel Sasko stated that this was a technical nightmare to endure. If you recall, the quest has multiple solutions and branches. Depending on previous actions, some characters will show up to lend a hand. That, apparently, was one mission that left developers losing their minds and sleep.
Still, the result was an epic quest that fans are still pointing out. We’re certainly hopeful that the next chapter for this franchise delivers in a big way. We already know that new developers set to work on The Witcher 4 have already gotten their feet wet. It was unveiled that newcomers were actually tasked with developing a new quest for The Witcher 3 so they could get an idea of how to handle the upcoming installment.
Meanwhile, as for Pawl Sasko, we know that the Boston studio location for CD Projekt Red is still working on the successor to Cyberpunk 2077. We don’t have any details on what this game will entail, but it was previously stated that we should see more developers being hired this year to help bring this game out.
