Uncharted 4 has real-money microtransactions for small pieces of content designed for the game’s multplayer mode.
The prices range from $5 to $50 and include a wide variety of points, from 500 points to 10,000. Here’s every tier:
$5 – 500 Points
$10 – 1,500 Points
$20 – 3,200 Points
$35 – 6,500 Points
$50 – 10,000 Points
The points can only be spent on purchasing cosmetic unlocks for your avatar in multiplayer, including hats to wear, outfits and taunts. None of these items affect gameplay, so if you intend on playing the game competitively, you can safely skip purchasing any of these items and simply play the game.
Winning matches in multiplayer will also allow you to earn points, so you won’t be relegated to spending real money in order to get new cosmetic unlocks for Nathan Drake and his buddies.
Uncharted 4 is out today. It’s exclusive to the PlayStation 4. We’ll have our review up for the game shortly.
