Sony Computer Entertainment has announced it is pushing back the release of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 until January 12, 2010. The game was earlier set to be rolled out on November 24.
On the playstation blog, Senior Producer Mark Rogers wrote “The PSP title’s development is on schedule and we are extremely pleased with all aspects of the title. It’s looking and playing great…some high value visual assets (screens and video) have only recently been made available to global marketing and we have decided to move the release and allow time to get the word out to everyone.”
So all of you who were looking forward to paying a visit to the country harboring weapons of mass destruction in this latest installment from Slant Six might just have to look elsewhere for another two months.
The game features:
+ Online co-op allows you to play the game’s campaign mode with friends and unlock weapons and gear as well as medals and ribbons.
+ Over 70 weapons allows for a magazine of weapons unseen in any other SOCOM game for the PSP before.
+ Impressive facial detailing and motion-captured animations.
