The Minecraft Movie slated for release in 2025 has received a second trailer. This gives us a longer look at the movie and the direction it’s likely going to take.
As reported over on VGC, a new Warner Bros. Minecraft movie trailer has been uploaded to YouTube.
This trailer proves Jack Black can do no wrong, especially in roles where he brings life to beloved video game characters. It opens with a young boy hoping to go mining and being chased away by an old miner. He returns as grown up Jack Black, who enters the mine and is drawn into a Magical world. The Overworld.

The official synopsis describes how four misfits get sucked into a magical world constructed from blocks. In order to get home they will have to both master and protect the Overworld. The unlikely friends have to do all of that while also undertaking a magical quest. The four misfits meet Steve, an expert crafter and together the five of them will attempt to fight growing evil forces.
