Rebellion Developments has quite a lengthy history of games it’s worked on. However, as of late, you might be more familiar with their Sniper Elite series. Stepping away from that franchise, the studio has a new action survival game coming out into the marketplace with Atomfall. The studio just dropped a new trailer highlighting when the game will be hitting the marketplace.
Atomfall’s latest trailer is brief but doesn’t offer much gameplay. But what it does offer is a release date. Players interested in the game can mark their calendars for a March 27, 2025 release. This will also give you time to order pre-ordered, as pre-orders are now live. But you’re already set if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber. It’s been noted that the game will be added to the subscription service at launch.
For those of you who are not familiar with Atomfall, the game is an upcoming action survival experience. Set within an alternate 1960s, players will be stepping into the role of an amnesic. However, as mentioned, this is an alternate timeline focused on the Windscale nuclear disaster. In this game, the event had caused far more trouble, turning a portion of Northern England into a radioactive nightmare. You’ll have to venture into this area, speak with NPCs, and make choices to learn what has happened. However, be careful, as the zone is home to radioactive creatures, cults, robots, and more.
Likewise, you also have a survival element at play here. For instance, if your heart beats a little too fast, you’ll find it difficult to see and hear. We’re certainly intrigued with the game, and again, we will finally get access to the title on March 27, 2025. When Atomfall drops outside of Xbox Game Pass, you’ll find it available for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
