Doom is a massive video game franchise that started all the way back in 1993 by developers id Software. Today the game is still going strong though it’s receiving a reboot which is set to launch next week. Take a look at some concept art for the video game down below.
As mentioned, Doom is an upcoming reboot of the original title. Players will once again go to hell and fight back some very badass demons with an assortment of futuristic weapons. While much of the game will follow the original title storyline, the development team at id Software admits to creating a video game that can still compete with popular first-person shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield.
Additionally, it was revealed that within each level of Doom, there will be a hidden easter egg that will replicate some of the old original Doom levels. While certain easter eggs will only cover a small section of the original level, it was announced that gamers can go back to the main menu and replay the unlocked original Doom video game level in full.
