Riders of Icarus’ Gameplay Soars Into the Skies, Founders Packs Available

May 5, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

Riders of Icarus is a new MMORPG. Here’s a first look.

Nexon America and Korean developer WeMade have released a new trailer of their upcoming MMORPG, Riders of Icarus. The game looks pretty different from other MMORPGs out there, as you’ll be able to see for yourself in the game’s first trailer.

In Riders of Icarus, players tame and collect hundreds of fantastical mounts that range from bears to fire-breathing dragons.

Like other new MMOs, Riders of Icarus will be free-to-play when it comes out, but players have a choice of three different packs that provide them with early access, exclusive mounts, and other benefits. Anyone who purchases one of these packs will get a seven-day head-start before the game’s official beta launch on July 6.

Here’s what’s up:

  • Elite Riders’ Pack: Begin the ride of your life with the Elite Riders Pack and receive an exclusive mount, early access, a special title and more. $24.99 (value $41.70)
  • Heroic Riders’ Pack: Forge your destiny with everything from the Elite Riders Pack, plus an additional exclusive mount, 30 days of Premium Service and much more. $42.99 (value $105.86)
  • Legendary Riders’ Pack: Become a Legend with nearly everything from the Heroic Riders pack, plus two additional exclusive mounts, 24 inventory slots, 30 additional days of Premium Service (for a total of 60), and much more. $89.99 (value $252.75)

You can find out what the additional benefits are on this page.

The game will be available to players in a variety of regions (though not completely worldwide) when it launches on July 6 through Steam and the Nexon launcher.
