Ubisoft, you greedy bastards. The Playstation Vita is still a few days away from it’s US launch but theres even more shenanigans surrounding the system now. One of the launch titles for the system, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance, is a slightly altered port of an already available game.
The game is currently available on the PSN for $12.99 as well as iTunes for iOS devices for $0.99. How much is it for the Vita though? $39.99 Holy dicks, that is way more dollars than just one. This seems like a pretty ridiculous jump in price for a game that is 99% unchanged from the one you can already buy at such a lower price.
This is just an obvious example of Ubisoft trying to make a quick easy buck. They’re taking advantage of the ill informed, and thats just pretty low of a company. Any less knowledgeable gamer or parent picking up a Vita during the launch window will more than likely not know any better and pick it up not realizing how much they’re essentially wasting. Hopefully this article will save someone a few bucks out there.
