Ninja Gaiden 3 Trailer Offers Mech Battles Aboard Aircraft Carrier

February 17, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new gameplay trailer of Ninja Gaiden 3 looks like the very definition of awesome.

Tecmo Koei, the publishers of Ninja Gaiden 3, have just put out a new video exhibiting the gameplay of the aforementioned title.

The full length (read: it's 5 minutes long) video offers a penetrating glimpse at the game's combat, which some journalists will undoubtedly describe as "visceral" upon reviewing it.

The trailer starts off with the protagonist Hayabusa's arrival on an aircraft carrier, whereupon he proceeds to dispense violence to a bunch of military goons. He even shoves his katana into a helicopter, dodges missiles from another ship, and fights a giant mechanized spidertank.

The trailer culminates in a meeting between Hayabusa and one of the game's main antagonists, who transforms into a gigantic mech.

It's all pretty neat to look at, so you'll want to watch the trailer above if you haven't already.

Ninja Gaiden 3 is set for release on March 23 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
