There's a twist though – the game has yet to be finished or, honestly, even properly started. Over the next 60 hours, Mojang will create a new user-defined experience and Stream the entire thing for your viewing pleasure.
Some possible genres include RTS (currently winning), dungeon crawler, dating sim and Pete Molyneux (make it WIN!). You can also choose a general setting for the game, with choices from ancient Egypt, steampunk, horror, World War II and several others. There's scope for some pretty crazy games although, hopefully you like the idea of a steampunk RTS because its currently way out in the lead.
Also worth mentioning is that as the game brings in more money, the team will start doing forfeits. One of the team will be forced to get a Twitter account, for instance, and at a million dollars, Notch will shave off his beard.
