One of my favourite announcements this year has been that Warriors Orochi 3 will be coming to EU and US territories in March. The Warriors series might not appeal to everybody (outside of Japan), but to those of us that it does appeal to, we'll just buy pretty much everything Koei decide to release and we'll very rarely be disappointed. Perhaps that's why it's 2012 and we're still seeing Xtreme Legends/Empires expansions, rather than substantial DLC packs.
Destuctoid report that things might not be all that simple however, because of a strange rule in Sony's release guidelines that states that a game without English voice over cannot be released to retail disk. I know (as do the commenters at Destructoid), Yakuza has broken that rule more than once, but that's the reason given and that's what we'll have to believe Koei have been told.
Where does that leave us? Warriors Orochi 3 will only see a digital release on the PlayStation, will be available from the store and will be cheaper than the regular $60, although price has yet to be confirmed. Expect to see it on March 20th in the US and March 30th in the EU.
