Look, when it comes to Fortnite, they don’t exactly do “subtle,” and why would they? They literally stole their gameplay from their biggest rival and then made it better and more popular than that game; then, they ensured that they would always get attention by bringing in virtually every big-name character in pop culture to join their ever-growing roster! Seriously, they have a LOT going on in the title, and it works for them! They also know how to have fun, as they have numerous emote dances that you can make any character you want to dance to. It’s honestly rather hilarious at times.
However, things are now getting taken to the next level. That’s because Fortnite has officially brought in the Deadpool & Wolverine intro dance into the game. AKA, they have your character dancing to “Bye Bye Bye” from NSYNC. Here’s a small clip of it:
See? This is real, and it’s hilarious. In fact, the only thing that’s more hilarious is that it took them this long to bring it into the game! After all, the dance became popular immediately after the movie arrived two months ago. Then again, it might’ve taken a while to ensure that they got the dance moves right and that people wanted it in the game.
Either way, it’s there, and people have already taken to the title to ensure that they go as big with it as possible, as you can see in the video below:
So, that raises the question of, “Why did this dance blow up like it did?” First, it doesn’t have anything to do with NSYNC and everything to do with Deadpool. Yes, we know it’s one of NSYNC’s best songs if not their best song, but when Deadpool busted out his dance moves at the beginning of his third movie, all the while beating up the various members of the TVA, that’s when people fell in love.
As ironic as it sounds, it was the “most perfect Deadpool way” to start a film. After all, it was about Deadpool beating the crap out of people to music while timing his attacks to perfectly fit the beats AND the credits that were going on around him.
With all of that and the fact the movie is one of the highest-grossing films of all time, it’s natural that the intro got played, replayed, and shared all over the gosh dang place. So now, you get to enjoy it here, and you’ll likely never stop seeing it.
