The PC version of Mass Effect 3 has no support for controllers, Chris Priestly of Bioware recently revealed. While the keyboard and mouse people could care less, having the option would have been nice for non-PC gamers just making the switch or for people who, you know, like to choose how they play their games.
"The PC version does not support controllers," Priestly wrote. "They may or may not work, but they are unsupported by the game."
It seems an odd decision to make, considering that its a major release and almost every PC game going these days supports a 360 controller. Especially odd considering the effort that Bioware has put into the Kinect compatibilities of the 360 version; incredible that one platform can receive so much support and another can be ignored in the same area.
Don't worry if you're hell-bent on using your controller through the PC version of the game. If it turns out that your controller doesn't work, it probably won't be too long before somebody manages to get it working.
