Project Draco, the downloadable Kinect game touted by many as a spiritual successor to the Panzer Dragoon franchise, has likely been renamed Crimson Dragon.
The Australian Classification Board rated a game by that name earlier this week, listing Project Draco studio Grounding Inc. as the developer and Microsoft as the publisher. At the moment, Project Draco is Grounding's only known project, and it's been confirmed that the announced title is nothing more than a temporary placeholder. What's more, we can't help but notice that the dragon in the previously released Project Draco screens is, well, crimson. In the rumor mongering business, that's what we call a "slam dunk."
We should be getting official confirmation of the name change soon, as Microsoft has announced plans to show off Draco at an event in Tokyo later this month.
Crimson Dragon/Project Draco is slated for release on the Xbox 360 sometime before the end of 2012.
