Nintendo Switch Gets A New Play Together Sale For Some Multiplayer Bangers

July 30, 2024 by Ryan Parreno

The family that games together, stays together.

Nintendo has a new sale running on the Switch eShop, and we think you just might like the theme this time.

The Play Together sale runs from today to August 11, and this time, these are for games that can be played multiplayer. Nintendo is liberal with their criteria here, so these include games that have online multiplayer, where other players also need to have a copy of the game, and local multiplayer,  where you can play with friends or family around you, possibly even using just the split Joy-Cons.

Of course, if you signed up for a My Nintendo Account, you can also earn Gold Points. You can then use those Gold Points to trade in for cash to pay for more games, including DLC and the Switch Online subscription.

We’ll run down some of the more noteworthy games in the sale for your convenience, but you can also check the games out for the US eShop here.

  • Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition (67 % off)
  • Burnout Paradise Remastered (80 % off)
  • Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (65% off)
  • Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition (50 % off)

Don’t let this one slip even if you already own the game somewhere else. Capcom made changes to this version that aren’t in the Steam or other console versions. For example, you can switch weapons on the fly, and yes, it’s on this sale because it has a new multiplayer mode with Vergil.

  • Game Build Garage (30 % off)
  • Grounded (40 % off)
  • Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (30 % off)
  • Just Dance 2024 Edition Ultimate Edition (50 % off)
  • Kirby’s Dream Buffet (30 % off)
  • Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition (75 % off)
  • Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (65 % off)

This game’s main designer at Ubisoft, Davide Soliani, just left the company. So this just might be one you’ll want to pick up.

  • Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (60% off)

Apparently, this could be the last game in the series.

  • Mario Golf Rush (33 % off)
  • Mario Strikers: Battle League (33 % off)
  • Mario Tennis Aces (33 % off)
  • My Hero One’s Justice 2 Deluxe Edition (75 % off)
  • Nickeloden All-Star Brawl 2 (70 % off)
  • Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game – Complete Edition (67 % off)
  • Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble (25 % off)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge (35 % off)
  • Tetris Effect Connected (50 % off)
  • The Jackbox Party (40 % off)
  • WarioWare: Get It Together (30 % off)
