THQ has just announced the pre-order bonuses for Darksiders II. Unlike the first game, which had no DLCs, the sequel comes with a host of goodies for anyone who pre-orders the game from select retailers.
Here's what you stand to gain, depending on where you order it from:
Death Rides Pack: (GameStop) Features multiple exclusive side-quests allowing players to explore more of the Maker’s Realm and Dead Plains. In addition players will be able to aid an ancient Construct, battle The Bloodless and retrieve Karn’s lost treasure.
Angel of Death Pack: (Best Buy) Features enhanced armor with an angel inspired design as well as a pair of matching scythes. In addition players will receive an exclusive purple colored visual trail for their crow.
Deadly Despair Pack: (Amazon) Features an additional speed boost for Death’s horse Despair, that allows players to traverse the world at a much faster rate.
In addition to the pre-order bonuses, THQ has also released a host of new screenshots from the game, all of which depict Death looking pretty menacing.
Darksiders II is set for release on June 26 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
