The Last of Us continues to make an impression on us with the release of six new screenshots today. The six screens were released in GameInformer.
The visuals are as crisp as ever, and depict Joel beating the hell out of some guy with a two-by-four in a rundown grocery store. Another screenshot has him pointing a gun in the third person. Also seen is the Ellen Page-lookalike Ellie throwing a brick at some goon with a handgun. Check them out here.
We can expect to see more images and information about Naughty Dog's upcoming game in the months to come.
The Last of Us is set for a 2012 release, and is exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
