Bioware has put out the first ever trailer for FemShep, the female version of the protagonist whom we've only previously seen in concept art. The new trailer, titled "Reinstated" shows Shepard in her attempt to fight the Reapers. Shepard has red hair, freckles, and a mean attitude. She is voiced by Jennifer Hale.
The female Shepard, or FemShep, had her looks voted upon by the Mass Effect community through Facebook in a poll held by Bioware a few months ago. The vote itself caused an uproar amongst the community as it seemed like a popularity contest. The final decision was made by Bioware, which went with the popular selection.
Mass Effect 3 will be released on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 6, 2012.
