There is no shortage of video game rumors and speculation pieces online. However, one that has started to gain attention as of late involves Bethesda. This behemoth of a company has quite a few thrilling games it’s developed and helped publish into the marketplace. However, fans are starting to speculate that Bethesda might have a game that has yet to be unveiled. Best of all, it looks like this game project is supposedly set to release sometime this year. Details are nonexistent right now. But this all stems back to one social media post.
If you’re a fan of Bethesda, then you might be in for a treat. Marcel Hatam, who is the senior product marketing manager for Bethesda, recently made a post on their X social media account. The post was a few days old, but it’s started to get picked up by fans worldwide. Thanks to Gamerant, we’re finding out about this post and are sharing it with you. If you look at Marcel’s X social media profile, you’ll find that there is a total of ten games mentioned that they can’t wait to play.
More specifically, these are ten games that he’s hoping to play in 2024. Those titles range from various genres and are not directly tied to Bethesda. You’ll find that this list contains games from various third-party studios. But one of the games mentioned is simply titled TBA Game. Fans are speculating that this could be a game Bethesda is directly involved with. However, we don’t have any insight just yet about what Bethesda could be delivering.
It would seem that this is a game that has yet to be unveiled to the public. However, just what studio is working on this game or if it’s attached to an established franchise is a mystery for now. With fans anticipating an Xbox Direct announcement, this could very well be another shadow drop title. If you don’t recall, Hi-Fi Rush was developed under Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks.
That game was unveiled last year during an Xbox Direct, and it was later released that day on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. So there are plenty of fans hopeful we get a similar treatment this year, but we’ll just have to wait and see if that’s the case. Rumors are spreading online that this Xbox Direct stream is happening as early as next week, but we’ll need to wait for Microsoft to make the official announcement.
