For the past couple of months, Club Nintendo has been offering up games in exchange for points—good ones, too, and for less points than it costs to earn you a Nintendogs greeting card set.
January’s games were Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (150 points)—which is, no kidding, one of my absolute favorite video games of all time—and Dr. Mario Online Rx (100 points). Having only found out about the deals at the end of the month, I raced to snatch up both games before the offer was over. “Why not?” I thought, ignoring the fact that I already own Majora’s Mask and a working Nintendo 64, “I doubt next month’s rewards will be this good.”
I was wrong. It looks like Nintendo intend-o’s (shoot me) to keep this ball rolling with at least one very tempting game up for grabs each month.
Club Nintendo’s game rewards for the month of February are Mario Party 2 for Wii’s Virtual Console and Art Academy: First Semester for the 3DS. And while we’re here, I feel obligated to mention that other new Club Nintendo rewards include a Nintendo 3DS Game Card Case which comes in four different skins, as well as a few cute Mario and Donkey Kong themed notebooks.
If, like me, you’ve got unused Club Nintendo points but stopped checking up on Club Nintendo’s offers after acquiring their gorgeous Legend of Zelda posters and figured you’d never find a place for a Mario themed terrycloth towel in your life, do yourself a favor and check out this month’s rewards.
