Rockstar has announced a snazzy redesign for the official Max Payne 3 website, complete with new gameplay footage, screenshots, and details on the game's backstory.
To celebrate the launch, Rockstar has kicked of a new series of in-depth interactive features. The first highlights the game's massively powerful 608 Bull revolver. You can watch a brief (but oh so flashy) clip of the gun in action and explore a 360-degree render of the gun, both assembled and broken down into its individually modeled components.
The new site also includes a dossier on one of the game's violent drug cartels, the Comando Sobra, outlining their history, organizational structure, and all sorts of other things that won't matter once you're blowing them to pieces with a massive revolver.
Rockstar says they'll continue to update the site with similar features in the weeks leading up to Max Payne 3's May release for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
