Ubisoft has just released a developer diary for Ghost Recon Online, an upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS based on the tactical shooter series by Tom Clancy, discussing the games different classes and play-styles. The MMO is currently in closed beta.
The free shooter lets players team up with their friends against opponents around the globe to dominate the battlefield with the ability to level up and access new upgrades and customizations. Additionally, players are given the ability to build their own unique set of skills skills and equipment. The game will support by micro transactions, meaning that players can "rent" a gun for a specific amount of days for a set price.
Ghost Recon Online is scheduled for release on the PC and, surprisingly, the Wii U console, which was announced On 7 June 2011, at E3.
